3.25.07 - New News...

Since so many people have discovered myspace, the old mowermusic.com has been a little neglected since the end of last year.

A lot has happened since 2006 and a lot more is happening now.

Mower finished the year on tour and had a great time doing it, and when the band returned home they got to work on songs for the new CD.

A few small runs and some local shows kicked off 2007 and at the end of the 1st quarter the band is preparing to hit the road again.

First up is a quick tour of the west coast, a date on the JagerMusic Tour w/Stone Sour in April and then a couple months out with (hed)pe nationwide on the Scratch N' Sniff Tour.

In between tours Mower will be filming a live video for the track "American Psycho" which is doing well on satellite radio.

The video will be shot at 710 Club at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 25th during a free 21 & Up show. All Mower fans are encouraged to come out and get on camera rocking out.

After the band gets footage for the video, they will perform a free set for all the Mower friends and fans.

Mower's MTV2 On The Rise segment will be available On Demand in the month of April acccording to MTV2 producers. More info to follow.

"Broken Hands" from Not For You just went to radio and you can help Mower by requesting the track by clicking here: Broken Hands Radio Requests

Mower singer Brian Sheerin is currrently training with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to run a marathon and raise funds for blood cancer research. As of today over $2000 has been raised and you are encouraged to make a donation now at: Brian's Team In Training Page

Mower also recently debuted their jazz and lounge alter ego Slower with two sold out shows at San Diego's 710 Club. Mower fans and clubgoers were all taken back by the sight of Mower styled out in suits playing very different versions of Mower songs. You can get a tast of Slower here: Slower Myspace Page.

Thanks for being patient with the news section. We're back on track for 2007, so between Mower music and myspace.com/mower, you can keep track of Mower's latest news.

3.19.06 - Mower Back From Japan, New Release Date For Not For You 5-16-06...

Mower flew in, played eight shows in a row and flew home, but not before connecting with thousands of Japanese fans and citizens.

The band traveled all over Japan meeting with fans, promoters, bands, Suburban Noize Japan, SRH Japan and hundreds of random Japanese citizens. Due to the success of Mower's self-titled debut, the turnout at shows was excellent, and the five members walking around in the streets with mohawks, spikes, shaved heads and black clothing turned a lot of heads.

Photos from the trip will be posted on a special page shortly.

The release date for Not For You has been pushed back to 5-16-06. That may seem like forever for diehard fans, but it will help Suburban Noize Records get the album situated in stores nationwide and give radio, satellite and video outlets a chance to add songs to their playlists.

You can help by emailing your local rock radio station and requesting Mower.
